View our gallery for photos and floorplans of each space. The top level is open concept, encompassing the kitchen, living, and dining areas. Vaulted ceilings and multiple windows create an open, airy space that enjoys beautiful natural light. Sliding glass doors lead to a top deck that spans two sides of the house—a lovely entertaining space for taking in the beautiful Corolla sunrises/sunsets or dining al fresco in the evenings. A screened-in porch provides the perfect nook to escape into a good book. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare delicious home-cooked meals and has generous counter space thanks to a large peninsula with seating for six. The wet bar is ready and waiting for you to pour a drink for happy hour. Bedroom 1 sleeps two and features a king bed and full bathroom.
The middle level features three bedrooms and a generous foyer. Bedroom 2 sleeps two with a king bed. It has an en suite bathroom with a stall shower and large soaking tub. Sliding glass doors provide access to the lower-level deck, where a hammock awaits for an afternoon nap. Bedroom 3 sleeps two with a king bed and also has a full attached bathroom. It also has a full-size crib (that can easily be wheeled to other bedrooms if needed). Bedroom 4 sleeps three with one queen and one twin bed.
The ground level offers a fifth bedroom that is perfect for kids or teens. It features two queens and two double-size trundle beds. There is also a half bath, laundry room (with second refrigerator), and the main entry (leading to a double carport and an outdoor shower) on this level.
OUTDOOR LIVING
Situated on a private half-acre lot, the home boasts ample outdoor living space with something for everyone. The rear of the property features a large and private fenced patio area encased by woods. Out here guests can take a dip in the 12x25’ in-ground pool, sunbathe in the surrounding lounge furniture, or relax and unwind with a late evening soak in the pergola-covered 6-person jetted hot tub. There is also a gas grill for evening cookouts and an outdoor shower. A spacious front lawn is the perfect spot for supplied yard games such as cornhole and horseshoes. A long driveway provides ample parking and a place to shoot hoops.

An on-site washer and dryer means you can return home with clean laundry.

Two well-behaved dogs stay free. Extra dogs will be considered on an individual basis for an additional fee ($175 per animal).

Bed and bath linens are included in your reservation (but bring your own beach towels).

The pool is available April through mid-October, and the hot tub is available April through New Year’s. Inquire for specific dates. If your reservation falls outside these dates and you would like to request use of these accommodations, please contact us and we will be happy to quote you an additional charge to make them available to you, if possible. Requests cannot be guaranteed.

Beach chairs and other equipment are provided including a sand-friendly wagon, umbrella, boogie boards, and toys.

All bedrooms feature flat screen TVs. Wireless internet, cable, Roku streaming, and an assortment of board games and puzzles provide evening or rainy day entertainment.

Conveniently situated in the Whalehead Beach community, Go Your Own Wave offers a private and laid-back family atmosphere on a spacious half-acre lot. Located along three miles of Corolla's peaceful shoreline, this private beach community consists of three streets that run parallel to the Atlantic. This neighborhood is sought after by vacationers and locals alike thanks to its beautiful homes and beaches and close proximity to top-notch restaurants, boutique shops, and other attractions. Guests prefer this neighborhood for its unique combination of large property lots, quiet streets, and a laid-back atmosphere. Convenient walkways at each block make for an easy stroll to the beach. There are also free beach parking lots one block to the north and south of Go Your Own Wave. This is also a golf cart-friendly community.
